David&Natalie grew up in the same town, went to the same high school, but didn't really know each other at the time. It wasn't until they were half way around the world that they met and started adventuring through life together. Most of their dating years were spent apart as they were both pursuing careers and big dreams in different countries. Although they are not currently living overseas, their adventures with for sure continue and now they will always have each other by their side. No more long goodbyes or Skype dates!

You might remember these two from our amazing Snowy Tahoe Engagement Session or from our anniversary celebration blog posts we have written before. Sam&Carlie are our dear friends from high school and were both in our own bridal parties! Needless to say, this wedding was super special for us! As some of you saw on Instagram, Stephen played two roles in this wedding, photographer and groomsmen. This was our second time having this scenario and it won’t be the last either! It was such a joy to photograph our friends!

Like a piece of cloth flying in the breeze, sometimes the wind picks us up and carries us to a destination we could have never expected. Sometimes our homes and lives seem to be flipped upside down. This has been our lives lately. Since moving into our new home (which we love) the question has been raised about what matters most to us. We are given choices. Do we embrace the mess or let the mess take over. There have been those moments when the mess takes over and we feel overwhelmed. Then there have been moments of pure joy as we embrace this season of life we’re in.

Trevor&Bailey are high school sweethearts and we love that! We've had several TréCreative couples meet and fall in love in high school, mature and grow up together until they are ready for marriage. Although we did not start dating as young as Trevor&Bailey, we know how special it is to have known each other and one another's families for so long. These two will be tying the knot next year and we are so excited to be a part of their wedding! We did their engagement photos at Gover Ranch, the same place they will be getting married. The property is located just outside Red Bluff and is surrounded by gorgeous orchards and is all things country!

Aaron&Jaclyn met 2 years ago at Jaclyn's sister's wedding. They were both in the bridal party and hit it off really well. As you can imagine, lots of double dates are spent with Jaclyn's sister and husband, what a fun story!
This session was totally refreshing and a great mid-week break from editing. We loved spending time with Aaron&Jaclyn and hearing about upcoming wedding plans!
