I remember when Stephen and I first started our business. We were poor college students, in love, and wanting to figure out our lives. We knew very few things about starting our own business. But if there was one thing we did know, it was that we loved working together and being creative. We loved every chance we had to pick up our cameras and we were so eager to learn and grow together!

After high school, we ran into each other several times at our gym and she soon sent us a message saying she was engaged! We always love hearing how our couples meet and as soon as we sat down with these two we just had to ask them. Dan&Allie both got ready at The Citizen Hotel in downtown Sacramento in amazing suites with great natural light for photos! Not to mention the amazing yellow striped wallpaper, my favorite! Dan&Allie shared a intimate first look before we were of to Old Town Sacramento for their portraits. These two had smaller bridal parties, just including their sibling which was perfect for them!

Sometimes our homes and lives seem to be flipped upside down. This has been our lives lately. Since moving into our new home (which we love) the question has been raised about what matters most to us. We are given choices. Do we embrace the mess or let the mess take over. There have been those moments when the mess takes over and we feel overwhelmed. Then there have been moments of pure joy as we embrace this season of life we’re in.

Although we did not start dating as young as Trevor&Bailey, we know how special it is to have known each other and one another's families for so long. These two will be tying the knot next year and we are so excited to be a part of their wedding! We did their engagement photos at Gover Ranch, the same place they will be getting married. The property is located just outside Red Bluff and is surrounded by gorgeous orchards and is all things country!
