For the first time this week, it truly felt like summer. In the town we live in, we'll have the most beautiful Spring weather and then all of a sudden towards the end of May, it will feel like a heat wave just hit us. That totally happened this week and right now, the air conditioner in the TréCrib is on full blast! Okay okay, I might be a little dramatic about how hot it's gotten, but it always takes me a few weeks to acclimate to the new changes. Anyone else feel that way?!?

Edgewood Lake Tahoe Wedding Photos - Brad&Rita

There was a huge storm the day prior, but on Brad&Rita’s wedding day, the storm had completely cleared. There was nothing but blue skies with a few puffy clouds scattered across the sky, our favorite! Brad&Rita were married at Edgewood Golf Course on the South Shore of Lake Tahoe. Brad&Rita often visit Lake Tahoe for weekend adventures and love enjoying the gorgeous view of the lake and amazing dinners at Edgewood. When planning their destination wedding, Edgewood was the perfect place to bring their close family and friends together to celebrate with them!

Our Favorite Meal of the Day - Breakfast

Breakfast has become our favorite meal of the day. It all started when we were first married. Three months after our wedding, I jumped in full time with Stephen to join forces. I had just graduated from college and quit my part time job. We had this routine that we would wake up at 6am and go to the gym before starting work. When Wednesday rolled around, we were both exhausted and wanted a day to sleep in past our 5:30am alarm. We quickly dubbed Wednesdays as our “date day” and we would go to a favorite breakfast place in our hometown of Chico or be adventurous and try someplace new. This weekly tradition lasted nearly a year. From then on, breakfast has always been our favorite time of day to go on a date when we get a chance.

Four Year Anniversary Trip - Napa to San Francisco

The majority of last week was spent out of the office for an ongoing commercial video project we have in Napa, then a wedding following that in San Francisco. In between, we celebrated with a little destination aniversary trip!

One of the things we love so much about wedding photography and videography is getting to see our couples throughout their stages of life. Travis&Kelsey who referred Jon&Megan to us, are now amazing parents to a beautiful brand new baby boy and we were able to meet him for the first time at Jon&Megan’s wedding. We love this TréCreative family that keeps growing and were beyond honored that Jon&Megan chose us for their wedding memories!

Fear Will Always Be There - Three Lessons From A Dance Class

Fear can paralyze you. Making you feel small. Making you want to turn and run away. Fear will always be there, it’s how you react to the fear that matters! I know this because that’s exactly how I felt a few weeks ago. If I’m really being honest, it’s often how I feel when making a new business decision or big personal decision. We all struggle with doubts and have fears to go along with them. Personally, I like to weigh the odds and try to know what my outcome could be. I often want to grasp for control instead of stepping out and just rolling with the situation.
