Where did January go?!? It was as if we blinked and the whole month was over and now we’re into February. We’re all about celebrating the small accomplishments and also the big ones. January was a big month for Stephen and me not only for #trecreative but also in our personal lives. We celebrated ten years of dating, TEN years. I can’t believe I’m saying that! That makes me feel old, nostalgic and very grateful all at the same time.

We met Nick&Moriah at one of our favorite engagement photo locations in Northern California, Butte Meadows. There hadn’t been much snow in the last few weeks but the whole mountain area was just breathtaking. The ground in most areas was wet from the rainfall but as we trecked through a few areas together, we found the most amazing locations for these two.

Zach&Tana planned the most amazing destination Mexico wedding in Puerto Vallarta at the Vidanta Resort. In attendance were 100 of their closest friends and family who traveled from afar to celebrate during the whole week leading up to their wedding. To have that many guests travel to a destination wedding really says a lot about the loyalty and character of Zach&Tana!

Chris&Courtney live relatively close to Auburn and are preferred wine club members at some wineries along the Auburn Wine Trail. It is their go-to outing with friends and family. It is along the wine trail that Courtney and her mom stumbled upon Vina Castellano where we took their engagement photos at. Vina Castellano is an award-winning boutique winery in Placer Country run by the sweetest Spanish family who we had the pleasure of meeting while exploring around the property. Chris&Courtney met us there and we started our session with a delicious glass of award-winning wine. Chris&Courtney walked hand in hand exploring the property with us and we ended the session with the most beautiful sunset with light glowing through the big oak trees.
