Over their engagement process, we always try to get to know our couples on a personal level. One of the ways we do that is at an engagement session. As we were taking those photos, we were talking about the importance of setting time aside and making date night a priority. Jason and Rachel expressed how they would do this almost every night and make sure they were on the same page as each other. They would go on walks and talk about their day! Those are such important patterns to get into before your married and it was inspiring for us to watch.

The first photo Ollie and Jenni took together after getting engaged had the Golden Gate Bridge in the background so they knew they wanted to incorporate this iconic bridge in their photos
Read MoreKyle and Marek are one of our past TréCreative couples and got married at one of our favorite venues here in Chico a few years ago. To this day, whenever we think of their wedding day, we always smile. They had some of the most heart felt, emotional speeches we're ever witnessed and probably the best dance moves too. So much so that Kyle ripped his pants at his own wedding. They have so many lifelong friends and that's a testimony of their character and who they are as people. Even after being a part of their amazing wedding day, we've been able to stay in contact with them and run into each other around town occasionally. When Marek reached out expressing they were expecting baby number two, we were thrilled!

Within that same year they got engaged, and the icing on the cake is that they are getting married in the Fall! What an incredible year 2018 has been so far and will continue to be for them! Way to go, we are so excited for you guys.
Read MoreA few weeks ago, Stephen and I were in Portland Maine for a very exciting destination wedding for one of our TréCreative couples. Although we would have loved to stay longer, our day and a half of sight seeing and exploring the beautiful state of Maine was just what we needed. The wedding we were originally there for went off without a hitch and after sleeping in the next day, we started grabbing coffee.
Read MoreLeft unattended, a vine will spend all it’s energy extending its branches. It will keep going until it literally has no energy left to produce leaves much less fruit. If you find a 20ft grape vine you’ll notice the first few feet may have fruit, then you’ll see leaves, and the end is all stick. A grapevine becomes a stick tree if it’s over extended. If you don’t prune the branch all the way back to it’s fruitfulness, then the vines capacity to produce fruit will be spent only to grow sticks.
Read MoreWe first met José&Laura in person at Zach&Tana’s destination wedding last year in Mexico. They were newly engaged and we had just met with them to talk about their own wedding happening the following year. One of the first things you will notice about these two is their joy and contagious smiles. After talking with them, you immediately feel like an old friend who is always welcome in their presence. Not everyone has that affect on people and we think this is a great character quality they both exemplify but also share as a couple.
Read MoreDanny&Gina met us at one of our favorite beaches off Highway 1 just outside of Santa Cruz for their engagement photos. In college, Stephen and I worked at a summer camp in the Santa Cruz mountains and on our days off, we would often venture to Panther Beach, the same place we took these photos for Danny&Gina. Being back in this area of Northern California brought back a lot of memories and we were excited to create a new memory with these two.
